For those of you who are wondering...no, I am not a figment of Shannon's imagination. I really do exist!
Shannon, thank you so much for this gift. It really is one of the best surprises I've ever received, not only because it is something I wanted, (but didn't know how to do) but because you captured who I am so well...
For those of you who don't know me, I live in south Louisiana and I love it here. I have been married to the same man for 36 years and marriage just keeps getting better! We were blessed with 2 daughters and now we have the most amazing grandchildren ever. I know! All grandparents say that, but I'm really right about it! :)
I work part time with children and teen-agers. It is the most perfect job for me. I learn from, and am inspired by these young people every day...so you may often hear stories of what I was taught by a child. It will so often surprise you!
So, this is my first post to my own blog :)
Makes me smile...I love new adventures!

Yes, you do have the BEST grandchildren. In fact, one of your BEST grandchildren tried to flush his bear down the toilet this morning and thought it was the funniest thing ever! Quite a sense of humor, that one! Of course, momma was not pleased.
